“Very Nice B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

My wife and I stayed at Fairview recently and found it very comfortable. Spotlessly clean, great breakfast & very friendly & helpfull host, nothing too much trouble.
Killin is a very nice place & well worth a visit, if you stay at Fairview you wont be dissapointed.
We will be back next time we are in Scotland.

Located in a small scottish community, and decorated with a traditional style from the highlands, the atmosphere here made our stay unforgettable. I tried for the first time the scottish Breackfast and choose to have a combination of all the options available.... I was Surprised it was just outstanding..... Really yummy!!!!!!
Definitely a place you must pick for your next vacations in Scotland....

I always stayed in hotels as I travelled throughout Britain and Ireland on Business but I would have no hesitation in staying at Fairview again. The moment you walk through the door you can feel the warmth of the welcome. Room was spotless and warm - very comfortable bed and great views. Plenty of parking and although you are on the main street it is very quiet. Elizabeth is an excellent host and breakfast was superb. Nothing was too much bother even to giving other guests sandwiches to take when they were going hill-walking. I have stayed in another hotel in the village but it bore no comparison to Fairview. I would certainly stay there again. Price was excellent value. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the village.

this place was so reasonably priced and excellent value. you can't fault it on anything. cleanliness, comfort and attention to detail was exceptional. there is even a large comfortable guest sitting room that has wonderful veiws of the mountains. killin was a very picturesque spot to stop to break our journey up on the journey home on the last night of our holiday.

Elizabeth and James makes you feel at home from the very start.
Heartly welcome, not the hotel style but an honest one, and that made us feel welcome as it should be. Thank you, Elizabeth!
Room. Spacious, good beds, nice bathroom. great view.
Lounge. Great, with comfortable seats and a good place to relax.
Breakfast. More than enough, and ever so good.
We skipped lunch and could just have a small dinner that day.
Next time in Scotland; We will for sure book Fairview House again...!

I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough. Firstly it is a beautifully restored Victorian property and extremely comfortable, light and airy. The rooms were 1st Class as was our welcome from Elizabeth our host. The food could not be faulted, well cooked and a good variety was available. I would certainly go back again and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other travelers. Killin village is really beautiful and a great base for setting off to see the beautiful Scottish landscape and relaxing. It is a great area for walking and a birders paradise!!
