A wonderful location, the views are spectacular from sunrise to sunset.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, the Hotel is in need of a little maintainence work but overall is very good and spotlessly clean, our room was very very small and had our stay been more than five nights we would definatly asked for it to be changed, the worse thing was the lighting and that was really bad (the only way to use the wardrobe was by feel !!!!!!!. Food very good and well served,Wine was very reasonably priced but choice was limited.
We would recomend Lochs& Glens Holidays to anyone the long journey was well worth and value for money couldn't be bettered

Room Tip: If you want to be able to pass each other in the room don't have 223

"How do they do it for the money": is what you will hear said by many a Lochs and Glens traveller and I have to agree that these holidays are excellent value for money. i have twice been abroad with Lochs and Glens but this was my first UK holiday and I was not disappointed. Yes it is a long journey particularly from here in the South but you know that before setting off so it should not be a factor to complain about. I agree with most of the comments about staff, food, excursions etc all very good. As for the bedrooms, ours was at the front with quite a good size twin with bay windows at with excellent views. My only gripe was that it was a bit on the cold side as there was only a small convector heater and this was only on for what seemed short periods of time. Other travelling companions had similar views while those at the rear said their rooms were hot, it would seem these rooms are smaller and the heater was efficient enough. The public rooms were also just not quite warm enough to be comfortable with the exception of the front lounge where there was two log fires welcoming you on the return from daily excursions. That said it was a lovely break and I look forward to another in the not too distant future.

Room Tip: High floor facing Loch for best views.

Have just returned from my second Lochs and Glens holiday .this time staying at their Inversnaid hotel on Loch Lomond .
These are fantastic value for money holidays . hotel was clean warm friendly and inviting .
Food was extremely good , more than enough to eat .Hotel staff were very cheerful ,helpful and friendly . We had excursions everyday, coach drivers were great friendly , knowledgeable , helpful and extremly good at tackling those difficult roads .
We had such a great time we have already booked to go again next year to another of the Lochs and Glens Hotels .

Called in on the off chance whilst walking in the area, the hotel was quiet but staff were very welcoming, friendly and great to see a lovely lancashire lad called Tom behind the bar, he's an assett to the place, being from Lancashire ourselves we felt at home instantly. The hotel is in a beautiful setting, clean and cozy, a much needed resting place, will be looking to go back for a holiday definately-Thanks Tom, see you again.

It was our first time in Scotland but what a great experience. We were picked up in Ashford kent & driven to the Inversnaid Hotel by a very good company (Lochs & Glens) The 6 days were the best we have experience of a coach company. We arrived near to Loch lomond when it was dark so the driver said we are going to now drive the wibbly wobbly way. The road was just wide enough to take the coach & it was up, down with humps & bumps. It was great, especially when we arrive at the end of the road & saw a great view of the hotel & the moon shining across the Loch. We had a very warm welcome from the Hotel staff & real log fires in the receiption area.
Our luggage was taken to our room while we settled down to a fantastic evening meal.

Room Tip: We had a double room situated over the front entrance on the 1st floor facing the small harbour whic...

We stayed at The Inversnaid Hotel in Feb/March 2013 as part of a Lochs & Glens coach holiday.

Before travelling I had read some of the Trip Advisor reviews, particularly the negative ones.
Having experienced the hotel first hand it seems that most of the individuals making those comments had missed the point.
The Inversnaid Hotel is owned and operated by Lochs & Glens Coach Holidays.
The hotel is really set up for customers on their coach tours, in particular the meal times.
The breakfasts and evening meals are timed specifically for the coach tourists.
When the coaches are out during the day the hotel is virtually empty, staff do attempt to cater for passing walkers but they are not the hotel's raison d'être.

We had travelled with Lochs & Glens in the past and chose the Inversnaid Hotel as the result of the personal recommendations of other visitors.
We were not let down. The hotel is completely charming, situated in a beautiful secluded location on the shore of Loch Lomond.
The exterior of the building had been recently re-painted.
The hotel's interior is decorated in typical Lochs & Glens style, with tartan curtains and carpets throughout. It is warm clean and welcoming. During the evening the hotel lobby was warmed by two open fires.
The staff, mainly European migrant workers, were all very efficient and pleasant.
The meals were good. When we stayed they were in different sittings according to the various coaches.
Our room, 240 was spacious and modern. It was on the second floor overlooking the adjacent Arklet Falls.
The icing on the cake for me was the daily journey in the hotel launch, across the loch to the coaches which were parked at Inverulglas.

Would we we stay again? Definitely!
But we'd also like to try some of Lochs & Glens other hotels, notably The Highland Hotel in Fort William and the new Ardgartan Hotel on Loch Long.
