“Fab wee cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

Went for Friday night dinner with ALL my sisters. Fish and chips!! Fish lovely and fattest chips I've ever saw - all fantastic!! Caramel shortbread best I've ever tasted, bought some to take home- definitely recommend. The Lovely waitress fussed over my daughter and made her a hot chocolate with cream and mallows, first one she has ever finished - must have been good!! service fab, food lovely, can't wait to return.

“Great home cooking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Never had a bad meal here. Great choice of homemade soups & the mince and tatties are fab! Staff are excellent & very friendly. It would be better if the rolls & scones were heated up in the oven & not the microwave though.

“Don't microwave the scone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

After a walk from Helensburgh to Rhu popped into the cafe for a cup of tea and a scone, served lovely with jam and butter but heated up by microwave which makes the scone too soft. Should just pop in oven for 5 to take heat off and it doesn't go soft

“Best Soup Around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

We go on a regular basis for soup and a sandwich - best homemade soup out and changes on a regular basis. Warm and friendly atmosphere and you can always have a laugh and a joke. Well
worth a visit and very reasonably priced.
