“Excellent atmosphere and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

I was really impressed by this little establishment, they provide quality service in a nice environment, and food that could compete with good restaurants in much busier places. Thumbs up!

“Simply superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2012

Came across this unbelievable Inn during a recent trip to Loch Lomond. It is situated in a forest and has a very quaint, old-world atmosphere with superb food. The drive up to it is beautiful too. Highly recommended.

“Very welcoming to soaking wet walkers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

This place was packed with walkers. We were all wet and muddy and they didn't bat an eye at the mess we'd made. They have a nice room to leave your wet shoes, bags, and gear while you eat.

Their hot soup really hit the spot on the cold, wet day.

Oh and free Wi-Fi. Yeah!

“Good food good atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

I eat here on a regular basis with family and friends, so much so we have a loyalty card for the place. The food is always good, service is good although a bit slow when busy in tourist season. The staff are friendly and helpful. Best time to visit is in autumn/winter time when it is quieter and the open fire in the bar area is blazing. They even do takeaway.

Well worth a visit
