“Tasty food - well cooked.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Sitting next to a moth eaten stuffed fox was not what I anticipated during my dining experience. Staff were friendly and helpful.

“Pleasant surprise :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

When you have to make a journey you weren't expecting to make, it is with deep trepidation that you find yourself in a place with only one hotel. . . . you could so easily be overcharged and undervalued - THIS WAS NOT THE CASE HERE!!!! We needed a good internet connection, a place to relax, and a decent meal. The restaurant was warm, attractive and had amazing views from the windows. we ordered a cullen 'skink'??? maybe wrong spelling - fish soup - and a chicken dish. They were FABULOUS!!!! and so were the staff - warm, friendly and attentive. . . . . there's a land line phone in the bar, if you need to use it, and free wifi access. If you need to take a break in your journey, I would recommend here :)

“excellent food at a price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

We had good, quick but not too quick and friendly service and excellent food. Some of the choices were pricey but we paid just over £20 each for two courses and wine, by sticking tot he lower end of the menu. Friendly staff helped and gluten free food was not a problem though I had to ask as it wasn't highlighted on the menu, and it did restrict the choice of food.
