“Home Cooked and Very Tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

We came upon this small cafe because we had planned a walk via the Rob Roy grave. We were very pleased with the menu choices and the friendly service .Even though the menu wasn't large, we wish all cafes would provide such a tempting selection of home-cooked meals rather than just standard cafe fare. We both enjoyed the pea, potato and mint soup of the day with a cheese scone - both the soup and the scone were delicious. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

“Mhor's the pity!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

Stopped here for an afternoon tea, unfortunately they did not have half of the things advertised on the menu and what they did have I'm sorry to say we didn't enjoy (very strange cupcakes). Beautiful location and friendly staff but sorry, for value for money we didn't return.

We came upon this lovely tearoom by surprise. Cold, wet and tired we were delighted with the atmosphere, menu and gorgeous cakes. What a cute little place, we didn't want to leave!

“A wee gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

What a find! Just around corner from Rob Roy's grave is the Library tearoom, also known as Mhor Tea which is in the fine food and dining Monachyle Mhor group. We had tea in bone china, a scone which was so light and also a huge homemade pistachio meringue, my mouth is now watering remembering how delicious it all was! It is a small place with bags of character, but the parking is just along the road (the chapel for Rob Roys Grave).

“A Delicious Spot For Tea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

My wife and I were visiting the old Balquhidder Kirk on a cool Saturday. The Old Library provided a really nice break midday. The tearoom was cozy and charming. The tea was lovely and the meal was satisfying. Their scones were nice. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
