This was given as a Very much surprise birthday present from my wife who is terrified of the water or more to the point what she cant see below!
We were give clear instructions on the operation of the boat and where we could safely go, a suggested route for the duration of our hire.
Wearing the supplied safety jackets we set forth on our grand adventure and were not disappointed.
The boat was small but had enough speed to handle the conditions which were quite calm on the outward leg we passed by many of the Islands on Loch Lomond
The sky was reasonably clear remember this is Scotland and we saw many views not available from the shore one in particular looks straight up the Loch with the Mountains behind.
On the return journey the wind had freshened and the Loch was a bit choppy which was great fun watching my wife's face as we headed back.
The one thing we were not prepared for was the Seaplane taking off and we could see the wake wave heading towards us even though we were quite far away it threw us about like matchwood.
But we survived and to my surprise my wife is now talking about hiring a bigger boat!
I'm not quite ready for the sea but I had a wonderful time and would recommend it to everyone.
We got some good photo's and will add them later.
