I just booked a room here as a last minute, good value place to stay for one night on my way further North, but was very impressed with the place. The room, staff and food were all superb, not to mention the beautiful surroundings! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone and will look them up first if I'm in the area again.

Our daughter paid for a weekend away for us as a Xmas present so we took advantage and went for our wedding anniversary, we arrived around 8pm in the pitch dark, as this little gem is amongst mountains and loch just beautiful, the staff were concerned as we had said we would arrive around 5pm it was really nice how they were concerned, we were shown to our room small but beautifully decorated, extremely clean spotless infact, very warm as we arrived on a very cold night.
We quickly unpacked and popped next door to have a meal again whay can I say absolutly gorgous then off to bed we went, we woke to the most fantastic view of snow covered mountains and a vast loch at the bottom of the garden you would say, that is how close we were.
Breakfast was delicious cooked by Diane lovely lady, looked afer us extremely well a credit to this establishment.
This place is a must for a visit and we will definatly going back......just a quick mention the girls in the pub next door wonderful also customer care second to none is all I can say as I work within the Hotel industry I manager a 46 bedroom hotel on the Wirral and these members of staff were a credit.
Only down side was that early morning workers were a little noisey leaving for work very early but hey the rest was great,
Well done ladies xxx

Room Tip: Room 2 beautiful.

We went there for Easter holidays and we absolutely loved it!! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, not to mention the views of the surroundings from the hotel. We had a delicious home-made Scottish breakfast too and a cosy feeling throughout our stay in the lovely village of Arrochar and Lochside Guest House. Definitely will be going back soon!!

This B&B is an absolute gem and great value for money. We only stayed for one night but were very tempted to book a second. We stayed in room 1, a family room which is actually a double and a twin. Both were a good size and had stunning views over the loch. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms were very nicely decorated. We were told the part we were in had been entirely gutted and had only been open since September. It was still immaculate!
Both rooms had their own smart tv, which was great for our son as you have access to Iplayer etc.
We had a drink in Ben Arthur's Bothy next door but decided to venture down the road to The Village Inn for tea (which we thoroughly recommend, but book a table!)
Breakfast was great - bacon, sausage, square sausage, haggis, black pudding, beans, tomato, potato scone, mushroom and egg cooked to your taste!
The only problem was that there was live music at the pub next door which was quite loud. Didn't stop us getting to sleep but it did wake me up just before they turned it off. Also heard other guests coming in the front door as the room is just behind reception. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and am sure we will back again!
