Cuisines: Coffee Shop
Description: Musicker is a cafe/music retailer/bookshop set up in 2002 by Sue & John Dennis, to serve good coffee for the palate and good music for the ear. In the cafe we also stock music tablature, music CD's Canongate books and, of course, coffee, italian cakes and wonderful toasted paninis. We now make delicious and original soups and sandwiches, too.

“Cool fun & veggie”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2014

What a pleasant surprise, music shop and coffee shop with a great selection of creative veggie bites - sandwiches, salads, toasts etc - offering some non trivial options such as veggie haggis in cranberry sauce, veggie bacon etc. people come and try the guitars, play some music, all in relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. It's not very big so probably can be busy at rush hour; we were lucky to just get a table and had great time

“Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

What a wonderful experience. The best coffee I have had in a long while. Service with a smile. Quirky with musical instruments around the cafe.

“Tasty. Trendy. Terrific.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014 via mobile

Overlooking the ancient Rothesay Castle. Such lovely staff. Coffee is just what you would expect from a specialist coffee house. Large section of teas also. Pannins are lovely. Served with a small salad. I had the vegetarian haggis. Delicious.
The window seat behind the front door is the best as you don't get cold if its a blowy day. Its a good place to dine alone as there is a bar/stool area thats discreet. Large selection of musical instruments to buy which are displayed through the cafe.
Faultless. Very clean too

“nice snack in convivial surroundings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2014

visited this vegetarian café for quick snack with work colleagues and was pleasantly surprised given that I wouldn't normally go for vegetarian food. The soups were different but very good and the sandwiches were freshly made a tasty. The only minor quibble, not unique to this place, was the price of soft drinks in small bottles which were slightly pricey .overall well worth a visit
