What a lovely hotel set in a beautiful little country village right on the coast, with amazing beaches. We arrived on Friday evening where we were shown to our rooms, with amazing views of the beach and golf course. The food is first class ranging from locally caught scallops to homemade steak pie (highly recommended), with an excellent choice of wines. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a great place for you with great walks over spectatuclar scenery and beautiful beaches. I came away from this hotel feeling very relaxed and would certianly come and stay again at the Ashbank. If you need a break away to either chill out, walking or the beach or all, this is the place for you.

We had an amazing time!! We booked at the last minute wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and found our stay at the Ashbank a truly enjoyable experience.

We were met by a very friendly host, who went out of her way throughout our stay, the food was excellent, real home with a touch of class. I recommend the steak pie!!

The rooms were clean and comfortable with great views, to the sea and golf course.

The course was great, had a game, can definetly recommend for the views and a good challenge!

Cant wait to come back and visit again, can thoroughly recommend the Ashbank for a special stay!

We spent two nights in the Ashbank Hotel. Our room was simply but perfectly furnished, and was spotlessly clean. The meals were first class with a excellent choice on the dinner menu. The hotel has a nice well stocked little bar. The owners could not do enough for us. Excellent value for money. We were not disappointed in any way with our stay there, and were sorry we had to leave.
