Me and my parter went here around 9 pm 6 months ago. Have been meaning to air my views on this place for a while now and found this site.
We arrived and sat down, bemused by the glitter ball hanging from the ceiling and the stage with high chairs stacked up on it. The actual ceiling gave the restaurant a warehouse feel, due to the exposed pipe work and electricals. The furniture was worn and the table had a PVC cover on it, like the ones you get in cheap roadside cafes.
We should have just left at this point to be honest, but ordered drinks from the disinterested waitress and went up to tuck into the buffet. What was left of it at least, and this was mostly cold and stodgy. When I asked one of the waiters if they could cook some other bits for us, the answer was a flat "no"! The excuse he had was that they were closing soon and would not cook any more food. When I pointed out that no one had explained this to us on the way in and had we known this we would not have sat down to eat, he just shrugged. The drinks were overpriced and the staff spent the whole time we were there stood in a huddle talking and ignoring us. When we called one of them over, they looked very put out and rushed the interaction, clearly wanting to get back to chatting with their colleagues.
I will never go here again and will certainly not subject anyone else to this by knowingly allowing them to eat there without letting them know how awful it really is.
