Ate here 3 times whilst holidaying in the area. The restaurant forms part of the Staffin Community Centre and has large windows giving stunning views across the coast and out to the Outer Hebrides. The service is exceptionally friendly with all the staff very chatty and helpful. The menu is not extensive as all the food is cooked on the premises. The food is good quality, simple fare with a Scottish emphasis - the smoked mackerel paté is outstandingly good. A good variety of drinks is available including 3 offerings from the Isle of Skye brewery and, unusually, Swedish pear cider. The atmospher is as good as it can be in a rather barn-like room not originally conceived as a restaurant. The only negative comment is that credt cards are not accepted, only debit cards. In this day and age that is a significant shortcoming. Either add a surcharge for cards or even put all the meal prices up by 50p (or whatever) to cover the cost.
