We recently stayed at this wonderful B&B and it was just perfect! The house is spottlessly clean and we were warmly welcomed by Magret. We had a really huge room at the top floor with a king size bed and a bathroom which was almost the same size as the room itself! There was a small package with chocolate to welcome us and as well a selection of tea, coffee and cookies as well as water - which was refilled everyday. The bathroom provided a separate shower and bathtub as well as a selection of toiletries. There were DVD's provided in the entrance hall and a lot of infos about the area. Portree is just 2 miles away and there a a lot of good restaurants - especially seafood. The breakfast was delicious! Everything was fresh and we can highly recommend the eggs with salmon. We can highly recommend the Peinmore House and it's more than good value for money. You'll never find such a spottlessly clean room in any 5 star hotel and believe us, we are travelling a lot! We wish Margret and her family all the best & hope to come back one day...

My husband and I stayed in Peinmore House last week. As soon as we entered through the door it was obvious that we were fortunate to have found a very nice establishment. I am sure it would have been difficult to find a nicer place to stay on Skye. Our room was very spacious and clean with a large comfortable bed. The en suite bathroom was bigger than many a hotel bedroom. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room. There is a great choice of fare. Margaret is a very good cook and her poached eggs are perfection. Currently a large guest lounge with fireplace is being decorated. It should be ready very soon . We had a look and it is also a very pleasant room. Do not hesitate, Peinmore House is the place to stay.

This is probably the best B&B i have ever stayed at:

- super spacious
- super clean
- lots of attention to little details
- super bath rooms
- well equipped (LCD Screens, DVD player and real coffee cafetiere)
- super breakfast with salmon included

This place can only be highly recommended if you need a good night rest!

We stayed at Peinmore House for three nights in June, having found it via the tourist board's website. From their own website and its five star rating, we were expecting a great B&B and were not disappointed.

The room was huge - the ensuite bathroom was almost the size of the bedroom, and the bed and sofa were extremely comfortable. Fresh (not just instant!) coffee had been provided in the room and the owners would provide fresh milk on request. Needless to say, the room was spotlessly clean.

The view from the room was stunning, taking in the house's walled garden, looking down over Portree harbour and on towards the Storr in the distance.

Breakfast was, as expected, excellent, with a choice of cooked and cold breakfasts.

The only possible improvement that I can think of would have been wireless internet access, but this is available cheaply at the nearby Aros Experience visitor centre.
