The Tables Hotel was a very nice place to stay.
My husband and I stayed on the Isle of Skye for 4 days for our honeymoon this past July 2005, and enjoyed our stay at The Tables.
The service was friendly, and the vegetarian fare made by the very sweet wife (Nicky, I think) was very pleasant (if not a bit rich!).
I do have one complaint, unfortunately. When we arrived, one of our bedspreads was of...um...questionable cleanliness.
Otherwise, this is a nice place to stay.
Very, very comfortable and homey!

Shame the customer felt they had to make a complaint on Trip Advisor. Surely it would have been more appropriate to make it known to the owners if they were not happy with a bedspread. It would have been replaced. All bedding and covers are replaced after every customers stay. As we were not told we cannot comment any further as to what type "of ...um...questionable cleanliness" the bedspread was in. We assume it was of a standard good enought to be used on the stay in question. We are here to make your stay as pleasurable as possible and cannot correct any faults if we are not told.

My husband and I toured Scotland in September 2004.

We visited the Isle of Skye and stayed in Dunvegan at The Tables Hotel and Restaurant. Dunvegan is very isolated and on the far tip of the island. The drive from the toll bridge out there is absoultely amazing.

There is very little in Dunvegan and The Tables is a very pleasant hotel. There are quite a few rooms. The room was nice.

The owner was not always extremely friendly.

There is internet access available for a very small fee for the duration of your stay.

The hotel is within walking distance of Dunvegan Castle.

The restaurant is very good.

Overall, a great place to stay.
