Originally was planning on staying at a B&B on Skye but when there was no availability and we were arriving the next day, the only place with a few rooms left was this hotel. The photos on the website of the rooms made it very appealing- and we weren't disappointed. We had a gorgeous room (room 28), it was massive and the decor is very modern!! The bathroom was also huge. The bed was very comfortable, and the only thing that could've made it better was if there was a sheet as well as a duvet, as we happened to be staying during an exceptionally warm few daysand it was hot during the night! (It's a tough choice to open the windows or keep them shut given the fact you'll attract the midgies!!). I can imagine though that during the winter months, this duvet makes the beds very cosy!
There was drambuie and soda on arrival as you're staying at the "home of drambuie" and it was brought up to the room. We arrived fairly late on in the evening so we chose to eat in the bar next to/attached to the hotel, and it was a nice meal with prompt service. We found the breakfast also very good. The selection on the menu catered to all tastes and the dining room where breakfast is served has a lovely view out over Broadford bay. The staff were very polite and friendly too, so all in all I'd definitely recommend this hotel in a lovely relaxing location.
