The hotel is recently refurbished. Beautiful spacious room with king size bed. Separate room for tv etc. Lovely bathroom with separate shower. Never had so much choice at breakfast. Varied menus all well cooked and generous portions. Service excellent.

Originally was planning on staying at a B&B on Skye but when there was no availability and we were arriving the next day, the only place with a few rooms left was this hotel. The photos on the website of the rooms made it very appealing- and we weren't disappointed. We had a gorgeous room (room 28), it was massive and the decor is very modern!! The bathroom was also huge. The bed was very comfortable, and the only thing that could've made it better was if there was a sheet as well as a duvet, as we happened to be staying during an exceptionally warm few daysand it was hot during the night! (It's a tough choice to open the windows or keep them shut given the fact you'll attract the midgies!!). I can imagine though that during the winter months, this duvet makes the beds very cosy!
There was drambuie and soda on arrival as you're staying at the "home of drambuie" and it was brought up to the room. We arrived fairly late on in the evening so we chose to eat in the bar next to/attached to the hotel, and it was a nice meal with prompt service. We found the breakfast also very good. The selection on the menu catered to all tastes and the dining room where breakfast is served has a lovely view out over Broadford bay. The staff were very polite and friendly too, so all in all I'd definitely recommend this hotel in a lovely relaxing location.

For 110 pounds for a single in a double room, I couldn't really see the value of this hotel. Good location, good evening meal in resturant, but nowhere to relax except bar.
Avoid Room 29 as it is very small and right next to the airvents outside from the kitchen - very noisy and made the room smell like a fish and chip shop. Window could not be open at all because of this. Vents were turned off at 10 pm but started again at 7.00am - not a nice wakeup call. I think the hotel should make a concession in the price of this room for its small size and the airvent ...
Nice bathroom though.

Just been for a sunday lunch in the carvery, food was great and superb value for money. The hotel has just undergone a refurbishment programme. The food, service and decor is realy well done with Drambuie tartan carpet as you enter (This was where Drambuie was first made for Bonnie Prince Charlie) well worth a visit.
