Booked this restaurant to visit after a boat trip. We arrived earlier than planned but that was fine. We got a warm welcome. one of the party needed a gluten free meal. We informed them of this when we booked. A gluten free roll was provided on arrival and brown gf bread with the starter. The chef had made a gf meat sauce just in case we wanted a meat option so we went for the lamb - lovely and plenty of it with potatoed and veg.
My starter of mussels from just down the road were excellent as well.
Staff chatted to us throughout the service but not itn an overbearing way - just friendly.
