The gentleman who gave us our tour is very seriously committed and passionate about his cause -- his love of snakes and reptiles was obvious, and appreciated, as he provided lots of insight into both the rescue work of the center and the individual species on display. Wish I could remember his name!
This is a small exhibition, but very educational and entertaining for kids and adults alike...I am a snake owner myself, so enjoyed seeing some new species, but even those who have very little regular exposure would do well to educate themselves and open their minds to fight prejudice against misunderstood herps. There is a donation program as well, if you want to sponsor any of the animals they are supporting, since they do it for the lifespan of the animal. That's a big commitment on their part!
