The freshest beautiful seafood and some really well conceived dishes but the execution was a little disappointing.
In particular we had scallops and sea bass that were over cooked. I enjoyed the scallop starter and one of my two was perfect but others in our party weren't as lucky. I mentioned the sea bass to the waiter as it was edible but not as enjoyable as it could have been and they knocked a bit off the bill, which was decent as I'd have sent it back if it had been really horrid so wasn't asking for or expecting compensation.
It's a nice place with friendly, competent waiting staff. And the food was almost, almost really great. I hope the chef was just having a bad day and if we went again we could enjoy the well conceived dishes as they were intended!
