Having travelling round Scotland for a week this was our favourite B&B that we stayed in. Our room was large and spacious and overlooked the harbour which was great. The bed was also really comfortable so we slept really well. The whole place had a really relaxed feel (probably helped by the lack of a TV) and the service was discreet.
The B&B is a short walk down the garden path to the harbour front - but careful as it can be quite wet and slippy as it is very steep. The owners have gone to lengths to provide throughtful individual touches thoughout e.g. information about the house, a torch to help you up the path after dark, an ipod docking station and a coffee maker. Breakfast was very good and the fresh bread, fruit and "special" of the day were a really nice addition.
The decor might not appeal to the older generation but we found it to be really comfortable and not overly fussy. This was a bit pricer than the other B&Bs we have stayed in but worth the extra.
