“Great home made cakes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We always have a great meal when we visit the coffee shop. Great walks and beautiful scenery too. Lovely little shop next door selling things made on the island.

“Pleasant Coffee shop in stunning scenery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

After an exhilarating walk down to coastline past Glengorm Castle and over hillfort (with the bonus of Golden Eagles) we enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup and good coffee in this delightful cafe. Shops connected to the coffee shop interesting too.

“A welcome treat on a wet day!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

We retreated here after the weather beat us back! We opted for a warming soup - really delicious and a very generous portion. The home baking was also top notch - all with friendly fast service.

“Good place for food, shopping and art”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Lovely food in a very pleasant cafe. Local produce on sale and local art on all the walls and in the upstairs gallery. Wifi access which is very welcome in this part of the world. Option to have mugs rather than cups of coffee would have been good. The art in nature trail through the woods next to the coffee shop is simply magical - a must see.
