“What a lovely place!”

We found this to be an outstandingly good guest house. The setting was lovely, the rooms were comfortable and the owners were very welcoming. The food (we dined there as there are no restaurants within easy walking distance) was of a very high standard - delicious. We only stayed for two nights but we intend to return for a longer stay in the future because we liked it so much. I can find no fault with it and would recommend it without reservation.

We stayed at Ardness House for one night the first week of May. We had no idea what to expect on Mull - except that we knew it would be quite rural.

Ardness House is located towards the south end of the island of Mull (Bnessan), about 15 minutes drive from the the ferry dock to Ione. This really was almost like what we call a "farm homestay" - most welcoming.Loads of information on enjoying the natural beaty of the area. Comfortable. The chickens running around outside our windows made us all the more hungry for breakfast!

We'll stay longer next time!!
