My friend and I arrived at An Lanntair at 17.45 to find it pretty empty apart from a table of around ten diners. I asked if we could have a table for two and was told that it wasn't possible until 18.15. Confused, I asked why and was told that a 'big' table had just given their order and the kitchen would be too busy. I just wondered why they hadn't seated us, allowed us to have a drink, a look at their menu, perhaps nibble some bread and olives..... but no, we were left standing like a pair of stooks. So we left. And we will not go back. Ever.
