Great atmosphere, very reasonable prices. Fun appetizers, good drink selection, wait staff in kilts!

“Authentic Look, American Feel.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

When you first walk in you think "oh boy, an Irish Pub".... but no. It looks Irish, the food reads Irish, but the hustle and bustle was too American. The lights were high and the atmosphere was too antiseptic for my taste. The food is fresh prepared and skillfully done and carries the price tag to prove it. The portions were right sized and to best of my Norwegian eyes authentically prepared. The Shepard's Pie was made with chunks of lamb throughout. Seasoned to perfection it is a premier version as I have ever tasted. My Chicken Curry was spicy, flavourful and ever changing with each bite as curry should do. We had the Corned Beef and Cabbage Bites and Katies Taters as an appetizer and they were brilliant. Each had three pieces and were wonderful.

There was an Irish Trio fumbling through some songs and almost made the place feel like a real Public House. As a payment note they could not handle a $50 Visa Gift Card when we paid and that was sad.

I would recommend for the food, but bring money and prepare to be rushed.

“Mediocre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Well it started off with the 3rd person asking us if we have been helped yet , us saying no, and being told it was shift change and they didn't know who had which tables but at least she would take our drink order. Then she did not know the difference between Irish Whiskey and Scotch.
Things stayed pretty much that way the rest of the time there. Did not seem like an "Irish Pub" more like a place that served Irish fare. The food was good but not great.
Stella on Tap was the best part of the meal.

“Irish eyes are smiling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013 via mobile

Excellent fish n chips. So was the shepherds pie. Both seasoned well. Smithwick on tap. Authentic fare. Wish it were bigger. Guineas bacon n chips make a great appetizer.
