We stayed here back in 2003 in April at Easter for a weekend break. We weren't lucky enough to get the two front of house rooms which had ballconies, we had a back room, but it was sweet, very, very clean. A little dark, but it had a lovely window with a tree outside.
The sheets were lovely, there were tea/coffee making facilities, and a glass of sherry each evening to come back to in the room.
The couple who own it were so nice and so genuine it was just lovely. The lady even gave us a small Easter present. She made us feel very welcome and if you're looking for somewhere that's quiet, then it's perfect, it only has three rooms available so there can never be more than seven guests.
The Breakfast was excellent, no evening meal available but shops near by and places to eat.
The rooms have en suites.
There is also a games room, snooker table and a small reading room with maps of the area and books to read. There's a main sitting room which is lovely.
Outside there is a beautiful garden to sit in, with an amazing view, flowers, trees, wildlife to look at, very relaxing at night. if you get the balcony rooms they over look this view and garden and i would imagine are very pleasant.
A nice area to stay too, well placed for trips to many stunning locations in Scotland.
If you are looking for personal, quiet, friendly and cosy then this is the place for you.
