We chose this hotel 2 years ago because of its central location for touring the Highlands, and its good reputation. We have just returned from another tour last week and stopped off here once again for 2 nights. The service, food, comfort and hospitality remain excellent. The view from the hotel is beautiful ... and the surrounding countryside...well it goes without saying, stunning!

My wife and I stayed for four nights and couldn't fault it. An excellent and friendly welcome from the host and proprietor, Stuart, who described the local attractions, showed us round the hotels facilities and to our room, The room we were allocated, although smallish, was bright and airy with what turned out to be a very comfortable bed. All staff were friendly. chatty and made you feel they were part of a happy team. Breakfast was a real treat catering to every taste from fruit to the full Scotish platter. We took one evening meal in the restaurant choosing from a menu to die for. The hotel is situated in a perfect location to explore all parts of the highlands by car and its extensive grounds leave you with a feeling of country seclusion with lovely views of mountains and forested areas...perfect break..

We have just returned from the most wonderful weekend away at the Coul House Hotel. The hotel was recommended to us by our wedding planner on the grounds of the beautiful setting of the hotel, the high standard of food and the experience of the staff. We had booked the hotel for 4 nights for ourselves and for three nights for our 18 guests (including 2 young children).

From the moment we entered the building (and in fact, even before that, whilst organising our wedding) until the time it came to leave, the whole experience was a joy. The hotel is peacefully situated on on its own, well maintained plot of land which is set back from the road about half a mile, giving a wonderful sense of isolation. The building itself is gorgeous, and recently renovated ground floor simply stunning. While some of the bedrooms are slightly dated, they are still very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard.

The food was everything we had hoped for. We especially appreciated the lengths the chef went to to accommodate those of our guests with particular dietary requirements.

We found the staff to be fantastically helpful. Every member of the team excelled in meeting our frequent requests - often preempting them. They were always charming, non-intrusive and professional.

We are so pleased that we made the decision to hold our wedding at the Coul House. They made the day simply perfect. Many of our guests and ourselves will be going back soon!

Just returned from 2 days spent at Coull Lodge Hotel, and as previous entries on Trip Advisor I cant stress how much I enjoyed our stay.
The obvious update of the public rooms are a joy to see and the attention to detail unsurpassed. All the staff without exception were enthusiastic and all worked together to create a relaxing
stay.
