We travelled back after spending Christmas week in wet, windy wonderful Torridon by way of the Applecross Peninsula with a view to grabbing a bite to eat at the Inn. So pleased we did this! The inn was warm and welcoming, as were the staff and fellow diners. The decor is no frills but fit for purpose. There is a well stocked bar with daily starters/light snacks, main meals, specials, sandwich and deserts menus chalked on wall mounted blackboards. Some of the main meals could also be ordered as a smaller portioned light snack at a reduced price so do look and enquire, and the bowls of soup came in two sizes depending on how hungry you were. We had a regular bowl of chowder and a light meal smoked salmon platter which came to around £13 (not including drinks and coffee). Other items on the menu included langustine, haggis, casserole, smoked chicken and scallops to name but a few. We will definately return to sample some more!
