This is a beautiful place to visit, right on the edge of Loch Ness itself. There are quite a few places to eat in the evening but I think it would benefit from some more coffee shops for somewhere to go during the day. It cetainly isn't a commercialised place full of Nessie trinkets and there really aren't many gift shops either. A very good base at the bottom of the Loch for exploring.
