“Wonderful Stay at the Glen Rowan Guest House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

What to say about Glen Rowen Guest House with Alistair and Vanessa. This is one of those 3 star B&Bs that make you wonder why they aren’t at 4 stars. This was a wonderful place to stay with wonderful clean and comfortable rooms and a very tasty breakfast.

Alistair and Vanessa were very gracious and Alistair was very kind to give us good advice on things to see and do in the area as well as the better places to eat. I would be very happy to stay here on a return visit. This Guest House really is a fantastic value.

We were made to feel so welcome by Alistair & Vanessa, the cup of tea on arrival was extremely welcome. This b&b is very homely with extremely comfortable beds and clean rooms. Alistair & Vanessa are very attentive and gave us lots of advice of where to walk in the area and where to get things we needed and wow what a walk!! Alistair booked us a table by the fire at the local restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal. The rooms have everything you require to enjoy your stay and breakfast is superb and nicely served by Alistair in his kilt and ghillie shirt.
We were working in the area and had been away from home for quite a while and Alistair & Vanessa certainly made us at home here in this beautiful area, so much to see & do.

Room Tip: The twin room was a good size & quiet

A last minute booking but so glad I did! Made to feel extremely welcome, the b&b is really comfortable and has absolutely everything you might need. Alistair has an eye for detail to make your stay that little bit special: booked table for dinner & made sure it was by the fire, full Scottish attire to serve a hearty breakfast that kept us going all day, he even started my car on a frosty morning so it was warm when we left. Cannot recommend this place enough, hope I can get back there again soon!

This is a very quiet and cosy b&b, very sweet and homely. Alastair and Vanessa were so friendly and helpful, offering suggestions of where to go for dinner and local attractions. The room had everything it needed, tea and coffee, lots of guest bits and bobs which I love! I slept for 11 hours as well! Breakfast was good and Alastair was a great host offering top ups of tea and toast.
Great stay with lovely people.

This was a gorgeous place in a great location...and hosted by a brilliant couple who I would love to adopt as family!
This was a heavily travelled area, being a hot spot in Scotland, but you would never notice when you are nestled in at the Glen Rowan!
Alistar and Vanessa were so lovely and I was given some great places to visit I would never have known about. Thank you both for making my stay fantastic!!! I only wish I could have stayed longer! When I come back to the UK...I am definitly coming back for a longer stay!!!

Stayed here for one night after booking last minute, and enjoyed it so much we stayed another night. Glen Rowan is a lovely B&B and your hosts Alistair and Vanessa couldn't be more helpful. If you're looking to stay in the area then don't hesitate to stay here if you can.

From the warm welcome to the excellent breakfast with the full tourist experience, it really is a perfect place.

I can't say it any more simpler than that. I wouldn't hesitate to look no further when next in the area.
