What a joy to be somewhere, where the reviews match the reality of the experience , true to word. The host Jim & Mick were most attentive but also respecful of stepping back to give you your owm privacy. Having your own private sitting room was a real bonus. Everyhting is of the best quality, had a picture in my mind that Princess Di would have very much been at home in this majestic place.Booked in as the in-laws where leaving on an early flight , handy place to stay for the airport.Food was fabulous and enjoyed the country walk to walk it off., Thanks so much C & H and the Patersons.

Room Tip: Both suites fabulous

We stayed for 2 nights in the lorimer suite. The house is tastefully decorated and full of an eclectic mix of treasures and art works. The hosts, Jim and Mic and their lovely dog Reuben, made us feel really welcome and we felt like we were staying with friends. We were in the area for a wedding, and Jim and Mic found out where the church was, and even gave us a lift to collect our car from the reception venue after we had checked out.
We were overwhelmed by how beautiful and luxurious our suite was, the photographs do not do it justice. The Millers guesthouse is truely one of the best places we have ever stayed, and we will definatly be returning in the future.

A beautiful bed and breakfast in a stunning location. Lovely antique furnishings but with all mod cons. Extremely clean and very comfortable bedroom and own private living room. Great bathroom with fantastic drench shower. All in all a wonderful stay, will definitely be back, recommend to all.

What a hidden gem the Millers Guest House is - a stunning home with every aspect carefully considered. Jim and Michael made us immediately welcome and we were able to simply relax and enjoy our (all too short) stay. Immaculately maintained and beautifully presented for the guests, the house itself is full of charm and character. Even Rueben the dog was at the door to greet us.
Our acommodation was a large and spacious bedroom overlooking the rear garden with small sitting room next door for our private use and ensuite showeroom off the sitting room. Bose radio in the bedroom and flat screen TV in the sitting room. A generous double size power shower in the ensuite. Sitting room overlooks front lawn.
Smoked salmon with fluffy scrambled eggs for breakfast all freshly prepared by Jim in the country style kitchen
We were just on a flying visit to the area with only one night at the guesthouse - but hope that next time we are in Scotland we will be able to make more time to enjoy the Millers Guesthouse - we will certainly try to do so.

What a find for our last night exploring Scotland. Mum & I arrived and were astounded by The Miller's House - it was like staying in a Country Life spread. Jim & Michael shown us around our accommodation - lovely bedroom, beautiful shower room and we even had own own private sitting room! Everything in their home was tastefully decorated and along with our warm welcome from Jim & Michael and lovely Reubin, their labrador, we felt very 'at home' at The Millers House. Fantastic nights sleep & lovely breakfast - it was very hard to leave this amazingly beautiful place....a truly hidden gem.

What a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful old stone building entered via a cobbled courtyard. Received a truly warm welcome from both Jim and Michael and was given a guided tour of the accommodation. I was booked into the Holms Suite which comprises of a twin bedroom and shower room on the ground floor and a large living room on the first floor. It was like having your own one bedroomed house and all of the creature comforts too. The shower room was unbelievable, newly refurbished and the double sized shower cubicle had a massive shower head and it was just like showering in really warm rainfall.
The living room had an extremely comfortable leather sofa, 40 inch HD TV with Sky+HD TV channels, tea and coffee making facilities and a vast selection of dvd's, cd's and books.
The bed was really comfortable with fine linen and a luxurious duvet. I had the best night's sleep that I have had for ages and being in the countryside it was so peaceful and quiet.
The full Scottish breakfast, next morning, was first class. The food was all well cooked and was served in the lovely dining room.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay but it's a shame that it was only for one night - I wish that I could have stayed for a week. I will definitely return - Thank you Jim and Michael for allowing me to share your beautiful home with you.
