“So glad we stopped by...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

My husband & I discovered this little gem this evening. The food is excellent. We thought it might just be a subshop, but there is so much more to this place. There are steaks, ribs, smothered chicken, pizza, any kind of sandwich, and more! They have put so much thought and time into this place to make their customers happy, and that shows in the feel of the place and the quality of the food. They are even thinking about offering some gluten free items. For those of us who don’t have a choice to eat that delicious wheat bread, we will truly be thankful for some G-F choices. They have about 10 tvs and great atmosphere. We would love to be here during a UT football game!!! The waitresses are very friendly and efficient! Henrys is one unique little place!

“"Henry's Sub Shop and Creamery" is now "Henry's Casual Cafe"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Henry's is new again!

I admit that I am very partial to this restaurant and eat here on at least a weekly basis. I have never been disappointed in the food, service, or friendliness of the staff. It is a wonderful restaurant.

Gone is the old sub-shop and in its' place is "Henry's Casual Café." Same location, same owners, same excellent food, and same friendly and efficient service staff. Almost everything is new except for the wonderful aroma that greets you and that is missing from so many dining establishments today. Not only has the name changed; only the booths and some of the tables are the same. There are new walls, covered with vintage signs. The view of the parking lot has been tastefully eliminated. There is a new bar in the rear with seating for about 15 around the bar and bar height tables and stools for 8 more people around the four big screen TV's. This new area will be great for fall football in an area that bleeds orange. The bar serves beer and wine. (I gave the "Bar scene" a rating of 5 stars for the atmosphere. This is not a big drinking establishment.)

Most importantly, Henry's is now a full-service restaurant with new menus, which are indeed full. Numerous appetizers, a large selection of entrees including Steaks (12 oz Ribeye for only $16.99), Sirloins, and New Your Strip steaks are now on the menu along with Ribs, Shrimp, Chicken, CFS (Country Fried Steak to Yankees like me), numerous Pasta dishes, Salads and Salad Bar and wonderful Desserts. That is just the new menu items. Still served are all of the old menu of subs, burgers, sandwiches, hand-dipped ice cream and milk shakes and the Salad Bar. The 32 oz soda glasses are “bottomless.” It is not possible to leave hungry.

As is true in all successful restaurants, owners Julie and Darren Henry are almost always on site except for a couple of Tennessee football games each year (they bleed orange too). They’ll be glad to meet you.

“addicting bread pudding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

Great sub shop with a menu for everyone. They have a variety of dinners and subs as well. Also specialty coffee drinks and the greatest bread pudding by far. I love their 70's music choice and they have a few tables outside that I sometimes use when I have my dogs with me. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly and go out of their way to make your meal to order. I do love this place and eat their often.

“Everything and more!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013 via mobile

Henrys is such a great and cozy little place. The food is excellent. Most people think of it as just a subshop, but there is so much more to this place. There are steaks, ribs, smothered chicken, pizza, ( the best reubens around) any kind of sandwich, and more! The interior is excuisite. They have put so much thought and time into this place to make their customers happy, and that shows in the feel of the place and the quality of the food. If you are ever passing by on hwy 411 it is a must see (right across from walmart)!! They have about 10 tvs and great atmosphere. I have been there many times, and the owner is always trying to make it better for the guests. He is also very friendly and is always there when i go in. Henrys is one unique little place!

“It keeps getting better.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

Henry's keeps moving to largewr and more visible accommodations because its business keeps growing. It's a mom and pop business run by people who are friendly and want to do things the best way.
