“Fabulous Guest House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

Excellent room with plenty of space, the en-suite bathroom with the huge free standing bath was delightful and the owners Marion and Ron couldn't have made the stay any more welcoming. Breakfast was well proportioned and cooked to perfection.
Comely Bank we discovered is situated centrally to many locations and we found over the few days we stopped everything we wanted from local shops, Lochs, tourist attractions to incredible scenic views were all within a short drive or even well within walking distance.
We both enjoyed the stay so much we plan on booking here again every time we visit Scotland in the future as the 3 other accommodations we stayed in whilst on holiday just didn't even come close to the friendly, well equipped peaceful place that's the Comely bank.
The price was excellent value for money and i cannot recommend this place enough to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay that doesn't cost the earth.
I was so impressed I emailed them when i got home to thank them for making it such a fantastic part of our stay in Scotland!
5 stars doesn't go high enough to rate this place and i would give the Comely Bank 10/10 based on our stay. Looking forward to returning in the Autumn or spring next year.

Family of 4 stayed for one night (4th may) and found it to be extremely good. Very friendly welcome from owners, spacious bedroom which was scrupulously clean and well-equipped, nice big bathroom with separate shower and tub (underfloor heating in bathroom was a nice touch), and one of the best (cooked to order) breakfasts I've ever had in any hotel or B&B. Can't recommend highly enough.

If you want to see the glories of the Scottish countryside, Perthshire gives you wonderful opportunities. There are excellent country hotels which will provide you with atmosphere, views and a delicious lunch with fresh local ingredients, such as the Ben Lawers Hotel. A perfect overnight retreat can be found at the Comely Bank Guest House in Crieff. The town is a delight in itself; the guest house is wonderful. It is a town house, completely in keeping with the local architecture. It has been completely modernised, so that the rooms are en-suite and superbly equipped. The owners are very friendly and treat their visitors as true guests. Breakfast is delicious: fresh ingredients, beautifully cooked. Try the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or the magnificent Scottish breakfast! Either will set you up for another day of the superb Scottish countryside.

Room Tip: All good! Just speak to the owners.

Comely Bank was very nice for a short stay. Room very clean and fresh. Cooked breakfast was smashing but sausages were not very nice. Nice location close to the town but quiet. All in all a nice place.

Room Tip: Dont remember the name of the room as owner had confirmed "Drummond " room but had forgot...

Booked here last minute as my young daughter was car sick and had to stop in Crieff. So glad we picked here. Room was nice traditional, clean had all the amenities we needed. The en- suite was fabulous, roll top bath, separate large shower. Ron (one of the owners) was really nice and helpful we had a great overnight and a really nice breakfast. Would recommend this b&b to anyone. Great value for money and great comfort.

stayed recently at the comely bank, whilst in crieff for a friends wedding. room was fine, and the bathroom was great. the landlady seemed nice enough. however, for all the time we were in the place, the main issue was the bizarre time for breakfast - 7.45 - 8.45, including at weekends. the first morning we were there, we asked for a wake up call, which we did not hear (i accept that the call was certainly made, and it was not heard). We woke up at almost exactly 8.45, and rushed across the hall to breakfast. the landlady stated that she wasnt sure if we could get breakfast, and then her husband marched out of the kitchen to complain at us not getting up for his wake up call. he wasnt being friendly with it, and looked pretty annoyed. needless to say, for the next two mornings, we didn't bother getting breakfast in the place. it wasn't worth getting up for anyway.
