We stopped in Aberfeldy for lunch and thought we would try this place. We have generally been disappointed by food in the highlands, so did not expect too muchThe menu was very restricted with a few unpromising choices. When told the soup of the day was Thai noodle soup we declined telling the chef we had a pot of soup at home for dinner. He replied " But you haven't tasted my soup so we gave it a try. It was excellent. For second course we had ordered fish goujons, and againthe dish surpassed our expectations. The fish was fresh and impeccably cooked with delicious crispy batter and the portion was huge. We were too full for pudding, and I was sorry we could not return in the evening for dinner, when the menu was more exciting. This place is well worht a detour if yo are iin the neighborhood and I heartily reccommend it.
