“Great independent bookshop and cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

Found the Watermill by chance while stopping in Aberfeldy. Terrific treasure trove, the bookshop is a delight and a reminder of the joys of browsing books. Sadly didn't have time to try the cafe but it looked great.

“Lovely place to relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

I visit the Watermill once a month to buy books & enjoy the comfortable & relaxing atmosphere with a cup of coffee & some scrummy homemade cakes. The kids enjoy the reading area & they always find new books to read/buy. Lovely old building with a quirky layout. Worth a wee visit.

“An attraction?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Been here for coffee a couple of times 'cos that's what it is now a coffee shop, book shop and art gallery. It used to be an attraction when it was an original watermill but I really can't define it as that now. Its a shop; get over it. If you like shops - go. If you don't - don't go. Simple as that.

“My kind of bookshop!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

What a fabulous place this is - a bookshop with a good mix of known and unknown authors/subjects, so a great place for a browse. The gallery has ever changing exhibitions, which have never been boring to date, and the cafe has superb tea and cakes. A super place to idle away a couple of hours during a day out in Highland Perthshire....
