“Day at the Theme Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Was at the Strathclyde Theme park for a day out with the Family (6 adults & 6 kids) next door to the restaurant and decided to finish our day with a meal. As we passed the restaurant on the way in and it looked really nice checked the menu and prices and booked a table for later that day. The staff were very nice and pleasant, the sourroundings were nice and the meal and the service was FIRST class and I would recommend it to anyone, the prices were very fair. The restaurant looks very high class but dont let that put you off as its very down to earth and if I`m in the area again thats where I will be having my meal.I have told some friends already.

“Lovely meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

Accommodated our party of 7 late in the evening at short notice. Good food, good service although the kid's meal portion size was disappointing.

“Great food shame about staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2012

Went with 5 friends for the high tea, arrived at 5.50pm and were escorted to our table bygive leasing waitress and given the main menu, when we called her back to say we had booked the high tea she became very disgruntled and told us it finished at 6pm, we told her it was only 5.55pm by this time and she said it would be up to the chef.we were given the high tea menu and what can I say but she must have changed heads as she became very uninterested in serving us, especially when one of the party asked for more bread with her starter, you would think she had asked for her eyeballs on a plate. The high tea which is only a tenner and food were first class and this is what the stars are for. An older woman bar tender could also do with a personality transplant as she got quite huffy when we asked for more lime in our ginger beer. A lovely place ruined by a lack of manners. Would give it another go as the food is worth it.

“Good restaurant with nice views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

Good food with great views over the water and Strathclyde Park. Good venue for taking the kids too as there is the funfair and amusement arcade nearby.

“Great Food, Beautiful Presentation, Fantastic Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

Having decided we really wanted to sit outside and have a lovely salad we were limited for choices and ended up here! There was no salad on the menu, however the duty manager spoke to the chef who said he could run us up a chicken salad!
We had haggis, neeps and tatties and a chicken, bacon and black pudding terine to start. They were amazing, could the salad live up to this??????
It was great, well seasoned and looked fantastic.
Their outside seating area has a lovely view of the loch and is at a quiter area of Strathclyde park and therefore very relaxing. It felt like being on holiday. This meal was worth every penny. Some of the menu looked pricey but I will recommend a visit! We'll definitely be back!!!!!
