A starring role in the plot of The Da Vinci Code propelled it into the international spotlight. There are countless theories, myths and legends associated with the Chapel and our tour guides will be able to tell you more about these, and the building's history, when you visit. The new visitor centre offers lots of touch-screen technology, letting you see the carvings close up, helping to reduce disappointment that photography inside the Chapel is not allowed. There’s also a very good coffee shop. « less

“Excellent, informative and intrigueing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

Well worth a visit, although the enterance price is expensive. The new visitor centre is well thought out and the tours inside the chapel were fun, friendly and very interesting. Its a must if in the area. Allow some extra time to explore the grounds and the surrounding walks.

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

You must visit this Chapel. Amazing carvings and so many. Lots of information is situated around the Chapel telling you about all the carvings and what they represent. There is also a guide to answer any questions. Scaffolding is still in place as restoration is being done. Should be finished soon I believe. Wheel chair access. Toilets, shop and cafe. Parking nearby but if you do not have a car then public transport is available from Edinburgh. Visit Rosslyn website for all info. www.rosslynchapel.org.uk

“Rosslyn Chapel - A Moving Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Finally I have visited Rosslyn Chapel. A moving experience and well worth the visit. Would highly recomend this to anyone visiting this part of Scotland. Impressive visitor centre. Relaxing and friendly cafe. Our guide in the chapel was knowledable and delivered an interesting history lesson with her charm and wit. "William the cat " just sat there and purred. Well worth the cost of entry. An amazing day out and will be going back. The chapel takes your breath away - amazing.
