My partner and I stayed at the Burlington Hotel for two nights in September. It was a very pleasant stay.
Arran is an exceptionally beautiful island and the hotel is in an excellent location with great vievs over Whiting Bay. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the service was great. Our room was tastefully furnished and decorated and was of a decent size. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but if we went there again we probably would. The menu looked promising and there didn't seem to be many restaurants in Whiting Bay.
We recommend Burlington Hotel and would stay there again.

We loved it here. Peaceful and relaxing. Were made very welcome, including our dog. Food is exceptional. Special meals were prepared for one member of our party who has special dietary needs. The beach is just across the road. Would recommend strongly.

The Burlington has a lovely sea view, the owners were very welcoming. We stayed in the suite which was a huge room with en suite bathroom, unfortunately no bath just a shower and seats with a view of the shore.
The room was tastefully decorated.

We had our evening meal in the hotel, they are members of the slow food movement and I can thoroughly recommend the food. Good hearty cooking at very reasonable prices.

Our only quibble was that at breakfast the tables were very close together, which as we were on a romantic weekend break was not quite what we expected.

Overall we felt that the Burlington is a three star hotel of an excellent standard for the price

Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel very clean with lovely views of Whiting Bay. Food excellent, but dinner is expensive. Try the Pantry along the road for a cheaper evening meal. Room a little cluttered. Owners and staff very friendly. Would recommend.

We have just spent a wonderful few days at the Burlington Hotel, on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. This was not our first visit and we have come to know it well and love it over the past few years. Whiting Bay is a delightful spot, and the hotel couldn't be in a better location. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable. Our dog is always made welcome, and loves the beach across from the hotel. But the real highlight is the food - you have to try this gem soon.
