“King's caves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Circular walk from machrie carpark in clockwise direction best, as less hills and better views. In main cave look for early celtic circular figures of 8 does anyone know what they meant?

“Great easy walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012 via mobile

This is a great walk to do when looking for great scenery and a nice stroll.we went from Shiskine golf course, through the fields and then down to the shore side. You pass mini cairn like stones, where people have used coloured stones to make wee cairns, lovely and very unusual. The caves itself are quite creepy but wonderful sights. Plenty of wonderful birds to see along the way. On return we tried to go along the cliff side, which is possible, however we were wearing shorts and the ferns were obstructing the way. We then decided to come back the way we came!
The walked was topped off with a cup of tea and cake from Felicitys at the golf club house. Great Sunday morning walk.
