“Birthday Treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Held a birthday party there for 15 little girls aged 6-7, they loved it. The staff were amazingly helpful and the kids were introduced to all the fish. The food supplied was good value for money and the visit was informative as well as fun.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for the great feedback regarding your child’s birthday party at Deep Sea World. Our birthday parties have recently been upgraded and improved and with four fantastic themes to choose from (Under the Sea, Pirates, Mermaids and Sharks) we believe we can cater our parties to every child hoping for a birthday party with a difference.

With a tour of our aquarium and underwater tunnel and a ‘Creature Encounter’ session, where the children and brave parents are able to meet and handle one of our Bearded Dragons or Corn Snakes, our parties have lots more to offer than conventional party games.

I am delighted that we were able to provide such a great present for your child’s birthday and that they will remember their day for a long time to come.

Many Thanks
Allan Berturelli

“Deep Sea World Easter 2013”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Had a great visit at the centre, kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves - really loved seeing the sharks which we were impressed with, especially at the number of them! The staff were really helpful and friendly and the kids really enjoyed the easter egg hunt. The customer service was excellent even on leaving the centre. Would recommend a visit. (our children are 5 and 2).

“Disappointing and not worth the money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Visited during easter holidays with 2 young children. Entry fee of almost £20 for an adult and child I felt was expensive especially considering we were in and out in under an hour. The whole place is in dire need of a makeover. We certainly wouldn't return here.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback of your trip to Deep Sea World.

I am sorry to hear that you were not completely satisfied with your visit to our attraction. We believe that the real value in our offer is found in attending as many of our interactive talks and feeding sessions as possible throughout the day. These begin every half an hour so there will always be something to see no matter what time you visit us. For example our seal feeding is one of our most popular feeds of the day and can be seen every day at 14.30pm.

Our feeds and talks are entertaining as well as being full of educational value and can potentially add a great deal of time on to any visit to Deep Sea World. I hope that you have a change of heart and visit us again in the future to experience everything that we have to offer.

Thank you again for taking the time to review Deep Sea World.

Many Thanks

“Deep Sea World Easter 2013”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

We had a great visit although it was very busy. I wish there were more areas for families to sit down and catch our breath. I thought the organisation around the 'talks' this time were not as structured as the last few times I have visited and that we didn't get the most from our visit. I found that being hounded for photographs was really off putting and felt obliged to purchase at the end of our visit. Hopefully the next time we visit it is less busy and more structured. I would love to see some lockers and pram parks so that we don't have to carry everything around with us as this only makes people more stressed carrying everything.
