I'm a wine enthusiast, but after this tour I tried a Jack on the rocks as soon as I left Moore County, the dry county of the Jack Daniels distillery. The history of this Tennessee Sipping Whiskey is remarkable. The care taken with the ricked charcoal filtering, the oak barrels which distill the amber liquid, and the master tasters remind me of the care taken by the Chardonnay and Pinot wine masters of Burgundy. The product and the tour are not to be missed, but hopefully in reverse order!
