4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

Give the owners top marks for listening to the customers. Ladies toilets a treat compared with the two small cupboard toilets that there were before.
Don't sit in foyer seats unless hot day. Heating was put on as asked but the doors constantly opening and a delivery with the doors jammed open made it very cold .and unpleasant. Sit in main area.
Food bar clean and food value was good with many choices. Tried steak pie with serving spoon but the meat didn't separate. Meat needed cooked longer.

“Good value - pleasantly surprised”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Let's face it, you're never going to get a five-star dining experience at any buffet restaurant, but The Quay World Buffet was a pleasant surprise. There's a very wide range of food available - from traditional choices such as steak pie, macaroni cheese and a carvery to Chinese and Indian. You'd have to be a very fussy eater indeed not to find something to your liking. Everything we had was very nice and hot - and the desserts were also lovely.

“Good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

As long as you keep your expectations realistic, this is a decent restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. Las Vegas needn't worry just yet and you should be warned that only a small selection of what is advertised on the website was available at lunchtime when we visited. Also, I overheard a staff member tell a disappointed customer that the carvery selection is only on from 4.30pm onwards.
I would particularly recommend the penne carbonara, which was excellent, although one of only 2 pasta dishes on offer and my wife loved the steak pie, again though one of only 2 of the local favourites available.
Varied selection of Indian and Chinese food if that's your preference.

“World Banquet Restaurant Sham & Food Menu Scam”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Re my visit, well firstly the food was nothing like was on the menu leaflet, the roast was lying for hours and looked rubbery & dry, hardly exciting for a buffet full of diners, the sushi had around 9 pieces on the tray, the pizza looked like a cheap iceland pizza, the curries tasted drab lacking flavour, the cakes were poor quality too, infact the buffet trays had numbers not names of dishes, a bad start for the owner from the secret millionaire, the staff couldnt understand me and at times very rude to say the least, my advice stay well clear
