“Wonderful Cosy B & B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

We spent 2 nights at this lovely B & B and had the place to ourselves:) This meant we had the sitting room with real fire which our Grandson Archie Loved. Paul and Mabel could not do enough for us and Archie loved them.
We took our little yorkie with us as well, the rooms are large and comfortable with nice little touches such as tissues and shower gel etc. The house is lovely and welcoming and the Scottish breakfast was excellent!! On arrival, Paul greeted us and we were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely contemporary interior and roaring fire. It's just lovely. In the morning lovely views across the hills and great walks with the dog. You can see the "Ben" as well weather permitting.

We would recommend Ardoch cottage unreservedly only down side was not enough nights:)

Thanks Paul & Mabel have a lovely holiday:)

Kevin, Gloria and Archie we will see you again

“Wonderful Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

Paul and Mabel extended a warm Scottish welcome to us. Their cottage is warm, cosy and relaxed.

We were attending a BUGS dinner at the lovely Ross Priory and chose to stay at Ardoch as the nearest B&B because Ross Priory rooms were all booked.

On arrival, Paul greeted us and we were very pleasantly surprised by the lovely contemporary interior and roaring fire. It's just lovely.

Our room was good too. And in the morning lovely views across the hills.

Breakfast was first class with everything you could possibly want. And more

I recommend Ardoch Cottage unreservedly

“Beyond all expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

My husband and I spent two nights at ARDOCH cottage while on a two-week trip to Scotland. It was one of the great highlights of our trip. The room was comfortable and clean, with the firm beds that we had specifically requested. Mabel's breakfasts were outstanding, made with fresh seasonal local produce. Paul and Mabel could not do enough for us, to the point of providing us with the keys to and a lift to a neighboring church we were interested in visiting. On their tip we also visited the oldest pub in Scotland and had a great atmospheric meal there. The Loch Lomond area is lovely, and even without a car we managed to see and experience a lot. A walk to Ross Priory from the cottage is a must!

“Home from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

We booked Ardoch house for exploring loch lomond, we were made to feel so welcome from the minute we arrived, we travelled on motorbikes with our friends to explore the area, Paul was so helpful with routes to try, and Mabel helped us out with booking a meal in the pub a few miles from Gartocharn, the accommodation is beautifully clean and with views to die for with a very cosy feel, after a cool day biking we came back to a lovely fire lit in the lounge which warmed us up nicely, and the breakfast was amazing too! All in all can't recommend it enough, superb value for money, we shall be returning, thanks Mabel and Paul!!

“Perfect Loch Lomond retreat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012 via mobile

Communication with Mabel and Paul has been brilliant since we booked, we paid a deposit and rest when we got there. Both could not do enough for you, full of friendly advice and pointers where to go. We stayed for a wedding and it was perfectly located to the Ross Priory. A beautiful setting. The room was spacious with a large bathroom and most importantly a comfy bed!! Breakfast was great and really tasty. We would recommend to others and definitely stay again if we were in the vicinity.
