“Nice little family walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2013

Nice gentle walk either from Carnlough centre, or a car park easily findable up a back road.

A few things of interest on the way and a decent waterfall, at least when we went, and it had been raining the past few days.

Great views back over Carnlough to the sea.

“A great walking trail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2013

Lovely walk around the harbour, there are toilets in the car park in Carnlough. We also took the walk over the street bridges, inland up to the old Gortin quarry. Signs along the way tell you about the history of the trail you are on, where a railway used to take the limestone away until the place was closed in the 1960’s. The trail is nice and level, so anybody should be able to walk it. Cranny Waterfall is up there, and you also get a great view down the glen coming back down again. I was surprised to still see some snow up in crevices on the hills. We ate at the Laragh Lodge in Glenariff afterwards.

“Not a well known location but worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

A lovely gentle walk of about 2k up the side of a river to the waterfalls. Footpath is good all the way to the falls and has an area for photos at the falls. Go after it has rained to get the best views.

“This is such a good visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This was another stop we had whilst travelling along the coast road. We were amazed at the scenery and the friendliness of the people. Just take a walk to the falls and enjoy the sorroundings. Lovely place.
