“meal out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

My fiance and I received a voucher for this hotel as an engagement present so we decided to go for a saturday evening meal, we arrived and although we had not booked we were made very welcome, an elderly lady gave us the menus, she made us feel at ease and was extremely friendly. We decided to try the set menu, £22.95 for starter, main course, sweet and tea or coffee, excelent value, meal was tasty, well presented and plenty of it, staff were very attentive and made us feel at home

Our first impression of this Hotel when arriving was of luxury. We were attending a wedding reception, so decided to stay the night. Booking in was easy and the staff so friendly. The rooms are small, but there is everything one needs. The beds are so comfortable.
The food at the wedding was the best we have had at any wedding, It was piping hot and the sevice was excellent. The Hotel It's self is spacious and comfortable. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble. The cleaning staff are a cheerful and friendly bunch. Well done Rosspark you have got It right.

My wife and I attended a wedding in July and stayed over as guests. It was our second stay in the hotel and we have not been disappointed.we found the rooms, though compact, to be clean and bright, the staff friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to make the wedding we attended a success. The food was both plentiful and delicious and overall we found our stay a very enjoyable experience.

My wife and myself had dinner at the Rosspark recently. I have to say that from the moment we arrived until leaving the experience was excellent. We are quite critical of eating establishments, but on this occasion we left feeling that it had been a grrat experience. Nice ambience throughout and the food arrived well cooked and presented. The flavours of the sauces and meats were first class and the service was fast and friendly. At the end the manager introduced himself and his wife and they took time to chat to us and wish us well. Oh that all restaurants were like this one. Well done Rossapark on all fronts you scored highly in our estimation.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding. The staff are brilliant nothing is to much trouble. The rooms were nice, good size TV, bed very comfy and a good shower. There was free Wi-Fi which was really good. I would recommend this hotel to others.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2012

Having stayed at the hotel for one night as guests of a wedding it was a brief stay in the actual room itself.

The room itself was adequate with free tea and coffee with shortbread and free Wi-Fi was good to see. The bed was comfy and the bathroom adequate, although the lights were quite dim.

My wife and I brought had brought our young son with us and we were supplied with a travel cot even if it took up quite a large portion of the room it served its purpose. The main problem however, was with the access to the room itself, through numerous sets of doors of which some pulled open while others had to be pushed. There was also a small flight of approximately 3/4 steps up to the room level as well as the large flight of stairs down from reception and the main hall (although disabled lifts were available). Unfortunately we had a pram and trying to overcome these obstacles was a two person job, made even harder late at night.

Breakfast was as nice and as expected, a full fry or cereal, bread etc, and the usual drinks.

The wedding reception was lovely including the meal which we enjoyed. If access had of been easier for parents with a pram/buggy I would have no problem with the hotel.

Booked one night away with the missus to recharge our batteries. From the minute we arrived we were extremely impressed by the service of the very hard working staff, the meal we had booked as part of a deal was second to none!!. Have had a few bad experiences of meal deals but not so with the Rosspark.rooms were immaculate and one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. just what we have come to expect from this fine hotel which is blissfully free from road traffic noise. Thanks for everything and making our short stay so enjoyable.
