We called into this cafe on 2 March for coffee and cake but ended up only having coffee as they only had flapjacks left in the shop. Of course they were pleased to be sold out but we were disappointed as we really didn't want flapjacks.
This cafe and bakers shop is situated opposite the Minister in a rather ancient and crooked looking building which has so much character. Half the premises is a shop and the other half a cafe but they do have extra seating upstairs.
A lot of the original features of the building have been retained including the original stone floor which looks great but is a bit uneven and makes the tables a bit wobbly.
We ordered two coffees cost £5.40 and they were good if a bit pricey. It did seem to take a long time for the drinks to arrive even though the place was only half full but the coffee tasted good when it came.
Nice place but the moral of the story is go early if you want cake as they sell out!
