Stayed here for two nights last weekend as was in town for a wedding. The house is beautiful, around 500 years old with many of the original features but not lacking on any modern luxuries. We stayed in the first floor bedroom overlooking the high street and the bed was probably the most comfortable of any I've ever stayed in at a guest house. We did get the chance to look at all of rooms and they were all very clean and well presented. The location is prefect, right in town on the quay so possible to walk everywhere. The owners were really great too, very easy going and more than happy to help us out with a bit of local knowledge when we asked. The breakfast is great, and if you're still hungry after more toast was offered. If you decide to stay here you can travel a bit lighter as the rooms have a hair dryer, and the bathroom is stocked with soap, shower gel and shampoo too. One thing worth mentioning is that as this is a house, there is no reception so when you arrive best to ring the bell as we walked straight in and ended up in the living room. Although this was not a problem, I think it caused just a slight bit of embarrassment for both parties. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone.
