“Great Sunday carvery, wonderful views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

The bistro has amazing views of Chesil Beach, Portland and Weymouth. Sunday carvery is always attest here. Not the cheapest but very good quality. Bar prices for drinks and helpful staff. Second visit and enjoyed with my family.

“Overpriced”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Being local we used to be frequent visitors for brunch type snacks, however in our view the prices are now out of proportion to the quality/quantities provided.
The only plus nowadays are the magnificent views.

“Gorgeous cream teas.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

We always stop off here for a cream tea after going to Portland Market. We are never disappointed, the cream teas are simply gorgeous, and if we can, we sit outside and soak up the stunning views of Chesil Beach below.

“Excellent views and food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

What a delight- friendy staff, service with a smile and nice crisp linen napkins. The food was lovely, served in a delightful presentation. Although we were only having lunch every detail had been observed. The food was really good and a good choice. There was more than enough of it too. The views of the chesil beach, Lyme Bay and Portland Harbour were fantastic. Can thoroughly recommend it.

“you do not often see this while you have lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

We were having a nice lunch with a good view over the unusual beach and bay where the 2012 Olympic sailing events were held when three people ran off the edge in front of us . As they had hang glider chutes attached it was OK . To watch them soaring at eye level but several hundred feet above sea level was amazing. If only for the view its worth a visit with a possibly great exhibition of hang gliding to boot not to be missed
