“Great B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

We had a 3 night break at Westower and were really well looked after. Gill's breakfasts are excellent - a good variety of fresh fruit, delicious poached fruits and cereals were followed by sausages, eggs, bacon etc., coffee, toast and then there were croissants! Sitting by the window we could watch all sorts of birds taking seed from the feeders - they know where to find a good breakfast too! Our comfortable room had direct access to the lovely garden. Westower is well situated for Corfe Castle and Swanage and is not far from other areas of the Dorset coast. There are good pubs nearby where we ate out in the evenings.

Perfect for walks and short trips to local attractions like Corfe Castle.
Friendly and helpful hosts who are happy to let you explore their garden, ( which promises to look stunning in-bloom!)
A fabulous selection for breakfast: fruit compots, full English and pastries!
Excellent value too.

Thank you to the hosts for making us most welcome. A lovely, peaceful and tranquil place to stay. The breakfasts were just wonderful - far too much but we done our utmost to help out!!
A little off the beaten track but otherwise a perfect location for seeing Corfe, Swanage, Weymouth etc.
We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend this B&B.

Really lovely place, great breakfast and beautiful surroundings. A real retreat and nice to be somewhere a bit off the beaten track. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful and there is so much to do in the surrounding area we could have stayed for weeks! The only slight downside was a smell of damp in the garden room, which was quite strong at first but got better when we put the heater on. That said, I would still go back, as it really was a lovely stay.

Amazing garden, fabulous food, generous host, nice rooms, lovely bed and bed linen. This was my first B&B experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The B&B is a few km's off the main road wich means that there are terrific lanes to stroll along (I didn't get a chance to do this sadly). The breakfast was huge and delicious, in fact I have been trying to recreate Jill's plum and pear recipe at home - it was wonderful. Thoughtful little extras in the room. We had super weather and I wish I had had time to sit in the garden and read, the garden is glorious. None of the following B&B's on the trip (4 in all) were a nice.

We stayed here for one night only. Would certainly recommend and hope to go back some time when in the area. We concur with all previous reviews that the breakfast was the best ever and our hosts Gill and David were very friendly courteous people. We are both keen gardeners and are very jealous of the beautiful garden that Gill and David have created.........certainly green fingers!!

Thanks for a lovely stay.
