“A fantastic find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

I recently had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights with my son. The owners were immediately very welcoming, and although they were on hand to assist with any requests they also gave us space to relax and really feel comfortable, this is quite rare for a B and B! We had a peaceful few nights sleep in the stars and sky loft room which was very spacious and cosy. Fiona told me that recently they have stopped doing a cooked breakfast and only offer cereals now,but it was actually very nice to have a longer lie in and a cup of tea in bed! There are plenty of places within a few minutes walk that can offer a hearty breakfast if you so wish. The location of this property is perfect for the town but also tucked out of the way,it was definitely one of the best B and B's i have ever stayed in and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Thankyou!
Nicki and Tom,Kent.

We stayed at this b & b in October 2012. What a wonderful place, Fiona and Malcolm are so
welcoming and make you feel right at home. Breakfast is fantastic. It is central to the town and
we were given many options to visit for dinner. We would definately stay there again when visiting the area. I must not forget Fred their dog who was always there to greet you when arriving home. What a lovely place.

This was our first time in Bridport, and we were staying for the weekend for for a friend's wedding at the Old Bull. We had a fabulous room with a four poster bed, and huge shower. Fiona and Malcom (our hosts) were wonderful. Very friendly, warm and welcoming... with a lovely cup of tea on arrival. Our breakfast on Sunday morning was absolutely delicious -with fresh fruit and cereals to start, followed by a huge cooked breakfast with homemade bread. It definitely set us up for the day! A fabulous little gem in the cute town of Bridport. Highly recommend.
Thank you both!

My partner and I visited Bridport for a wedding and Fiona and Malcome made our stay absolutely wonderful. The cottage is a lovely old house which has a really lovely feeling about it. We stayed in the Mother Earth room which seemed to put a spell on both of us as we completely overslept and had to rush down for breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and Fiona and Malcome were just delightful, couldn't have been sweeter or more accomodating. It's a perfect little B&B and there should be more people in the world like the couple who run it.

Having read reviews on tripadviser we decided to give the old millhouse a try and boy what a surprise !,first of all Fiona and Malcolm were charming nothing was to much trouble and they were only to happy to advise us on where to explore with our extensive walking programe, also where to eat and drink in town which was a mere 400 yards walk away.the vegetarian breakfasts were very filling and the fruit salad's are award winning. We stayed in the masters bedroom which was beautiful.large.clean and with a double shower. The garden,s and stream are beautiful and very tranquil and overall the old millhouse is a little gem in the middle of beautiful dorset.we will return sometime.sam and june.

Room Tip: choose the masters bedroom for romance

Its a super place, very relaxed and welcoming, lovely natural garden - you can feed the chickens if you want. Comfy beds - the four poster was lovely in a spacious room over looking the mill stream. Best veggie breakfast in Britain and the meat eaters were just as happy with it. It's certainly unique - successfully combining a spiritual side with being practical, lively (Fred the dog with the hosepipe game - huge fun!) and down to earth - so something for everyone. Loved it.
