“This sets the bar for the Kingsbridge area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

This was a wonderful dining experience. There are many places to eat in the area where the food is good - some have even won awards - but where they let you down badly by providing no welcoming atmosphere and you are made to feel as if they are doing you a favour - from the bar staff to those serving table. This is so not the case at the Wharfside. You are made to feel valued and the food is to die for. We had both fish and meat dishes and these were delicious as were the desserts. This is a veritable gem and I cannot wait to return. Keep on doing what you are doing.

“Fantastic Place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We had a wonderful evening at the Wharfside Brasserie. Great pre-dinner cocktails served in the downstairs bar area followed by a wonderful three course meal in the restaurant upstairs. I would particularly recommend the scallops to start and then the fillet steak, which was cooked to perfection. The dessert menu just looked too good to turn down so we had a salted caramel pannacotta and a chocolate fondant, both of which were delicious. There was a large and interesting selection of wines to choose from too. Great service, buzzing atmosphere and wonderful food. We will definitely be returning.

“amazing place go there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Title says it all definitely one of the best places in kb for a night out. Go there. Nice atmosphere, food choices are always good and accommodating. Kevin the owner has cut out a nice niche in the eating scene.

“Venison perfection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

Dinner for 3 with different selection, all diners were pleased with their choices. My venison was superb, cooked just right, rare and tender. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife is a coeliac and therefore has to ensure her meal is gluten free. The staff made sure her choice was suitable, checking with the chef if they weren't sure. Good recommendation on the house wine.

“Lovely wine bar”

Really nice staff always helpful and friendly. Atmosphere is good and choice of Red Wine is excellent. A nice place to go with friends but also you dont feel awkward here on your own.
