I came here last week for the third time, with some girlfriends. I have to say I wasn't overly impressed by my previous visits, but this time I was. Very reasonably priced house wine, and a great menu with lots of options to suit a variety of tastes and prices. I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection with a nice soft bun and NO tomato...yippee! Instead there was chorizo and an onion marmalade, which truly enhanced the flavour of the home-made burger. I consider myself quite hard to please, to be honest, but I was, very much. The chips too were delicious. I'll be going back, although live music nights aren't for me I'm afraid, as I know you can hardly hear yourself think above the noise from the bands. The food was great though, well done chefs. The girl serving the food was attentive and efficient, although I must say that the girl behind the bar seemed to spend considerable time snogging her boyfriend in the main pub, which was slightly off-putting! A good night out.
